Police were called after a car crashed on the Lawrence-Waitahuna Highway this afternoon. A spokeswoman said the crash happened about 4.15pm and it appeared the car might have hit a bank and then spun out of control. The car was blocking one lane of traffic, and police were redirecting other vehicles around it. It appeared no one was hurt.
