Twenty-two people were injured Wednesday morning after two construction cranes became entangled and caused an accident at a work site in Austin, Texas, the authorities said. Eight ambulances responded to the incident and 16 people were taken to a hospital, according to Cmdr. One person had a serious injury and the others had minor ones, he said in a phone interview on Wednesday. Emergency officials received an initial call of a structural collapse around 9:38 a.m. local time, Commander Benavides said. The Austin Fire Department and the Austin Police Department were also on the scene, Commander Benavides said.
