TAIPEI, Taiwan -- A cram school tutor, who was publicly revealed to have sexually assaulted a female student, committed suicide by hanging himself, reports said on Wednesday. Two years ago, Hsu had taken another underage student to a motel to sexually assault. The court's ruling was made on the basis that Hsu had received the student's consent to make advances on her and that Hsu had no prior criminal record. The court's ruling said that both had "affectionate feelings" for one another and Hsu had not resorted to violence. The student's parents also said they were willing to give Hsu a second chance, leading to the court's ruling of two years suspended sentence.
