Sideline reporter Craig Sager already had his hands full Thursday while working his first NBA Finals game, but he wasn't too busy for a fellow cancer patient. Sager had learned from another reporter that Conner was among those inspired by Sager, Uproxx reported. Sager, wearing one of his flashy sports jackets, discussed his treatment and clinical trials on the call, noting he had lost 57 pounds. Sager, whose battle against leukemia has earned him his share of admirers, FaceTimed Pitt Panthers running back James Conner before the game. He then asked the athlete if he'd had problems keeping on weight.
