Gordon is understudy to Fraser Forster at Celtic Park and has started just one match - the 2-0 Europa League dead-rubber defeat to Cluj - in four months. The 37-year-old, out of contract this summer, is understood to be keen on a return to Tynecastle. Talks between the clubs have been ongoing for weeks, with Celtic initially reluctant to lose Gordon. He has spent the last five-and-a-half years with Celtic, but lost his place for the second half of last season and has featured just six times this term.
