The councilor was present during the raid at his house located on Aurangazeb Road on Friday afternoon. Earlier in the morning, RAB detained Habibur at Sreemangal while he was trying to flee the country following the ongoing crackdown on casinos. Since September 18, RAB and police have raided different clubs across Bangladesh, busting illegal casinos. A number of people, including Jubo league leaders, were detained after the raids, and then shown arrested.
