Some of the biggest games of the year, in fact, feel like they’re probably going to be pushed out of 2017 and into 2018, barring any new brilliant revelations. But others are games that do have that vague 2017 release date, though for some it’s a bit hard to believe they’ll make that window. The “unofficial” leaked internal plan was that Destiny 2 was going to be out last fall, but the first official word was that it would be fall 2017 instead. Add in the scope of producing a sequel as potentially massive as Destiny 2, and it almost seems like a guarantee. I do, and Nintendo has a long, long history of delaying high profile projects.
