Last year, Northumberland County Council cabinet member Guy Renner-Thompson branded it “horrible”, adding “it is like a crack den”. Last year, it was reported that residents were “crying out” for an improved bus station thanks to issues with litter and graffiti. The council’s cabinet are expected to accept the funding for the bus station at next month’s meeting.
