Covid vaccine roll-out Ireland: Under 30s won’t be vaccinated before older cohorts – Health Minister Stephen Donnelly

Minister Donnelly said there were no plans or no proposals to vaccinate under-30s as a priority. People under the age of 30 will not be vaccinated before people aged 30-50, Health Minister Stephen Donnelly has clarified. I was just checking in with the Deputy CMO to see where the data was,” Minister Donnelly told Newstalk Radio today. The Irish Independent reported on Saturday that the gap between doses would be increased to eight weeks and Minister Donnelly confirmed this was being pursued. “It’s an exemption from hotel quarantine but there is still a home quarantine to do, so there is still a very robust measure in place”.
