Coronavirus numbers are rising quickly across the country. There are 391 new cases in Nelson-Marlborough today, the Ministry of Health reported on Friday, up from 324 on Thursday. Thirteen Covid-19 patients in Nelson-Marlborough are in hospital on Friday, among 587 people in hospital nationally, up from 554 on Thursday, with nine in ICU or HDU. Nationally 13,344 new cases were reported, up from 10,710 on Thursday. The seven-day national rolling average of community case numbers is now 8313, up from 8013 on Thursday.
