The trial run for the Covid-19 vaccine for children aged 5-11 begins on Thursday to prevent the infection of the virus. Health Minister Zahid Maleque will inaugurate the program at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the capital at 11am, reports Bangla Tribune. DGHS Director General Prof Dr Abul Bashar Mohammad Khurshid Alam said the first round of Covid vaccination for the children will last for 12 days from August 25 to September 7. The director general also mentioned: "We have sufficient quantities of Pfizer's specially prepared vaccines for children. The health minister also said that the parents have to register on the Surokkha app to get their children vaccinated.
