Mask-wearing security guards were stationed at the doors of the Hamilton District Court, which had been cordoned off. Hamilton District Court was locked down after a managed isolation worker displaying Covid-19 symptoms reportedly showed up there on Wednesday. The New Zealand Herald reported that a woman, who works at a Hamilton managed isolation facility, had recently had a Covid-19 test because she displayed symptoms. Both Hamilton police and the New Zealand Police national media team referred Stuff enquiries about the lockdown to the Ministry of Justice.
