(Photo: Apichit Jinakul)Thailand logged 15,452 new Covid-19 cases and 224 more fatalities during the previous 24 hours, the Public Health Ministry announced on Sunday morning. The number of active cases in Thailand has fallen every day for the past three weeks. Since April 1, when the third wave of Covid-19 began, Thailand has treated 1,251,671 Covid-19 patients, 1,088,148 of whom have recovered to date. The kingdom’s all-time 24-hour high of Covid-19 fatalities was 312 recorded on Aug 18. Global Covid-19 cases rose by 477,575 in 24 hours to some 221 million.
