Covid Australia: Victoria no new coronavirus cases for 13 days

Victoria has gone 13 days without a single new local coronavirus case, health chiefs have announced. The state enjoyed a double donut day on Thursday, meaning no new cases were uncovered even in hotel quarantine out of more than 20,000 tests. Across Victoria, which has suffered more infections and deaths than any other territory or state in Australia, there are now just three active cases left. Despite the impressive milestone, Victorians are still unable to travel to Western Australia without entering two weeks of mandatory quarantine. Some 57 routes will be covered on the Qantas and Jetstar network, CEO Alan Joyce said on Thursday morning.
