The tally of government schools closed in Karachi due to the pandemic has reached 15 with this recent case, while seven private academic institutions have also been closed due to Covid-19 cases. In Hyderabad, three schools were closed for five days after the emergence of novel coronavirus cases. “Coronavirus cases recorded a threefold increase after PDM’s public gathering in Quetta,” Shahwani claimed while addressing a press conference.
