One of the latest vaccines in the fight against Covid-19 is being trialled in Nelson. The European company Valneva SE has started a late-stage trial for its VLA2001 vaccine in New Zealand, at Lakeland Clinical Trials sites in Rotorua, Waikato, and Papamoa and at Southern Clinical Trials sites in Christchurch, Waitemata, Remuera, West Auckland and Nelson.
