Of the 156,853 Covid-19 cases transferred to the system, 84.9 per cent - or 133,195 - were reached and asked to self-isolate. This is slightly below the previous week, when 85.6 per cent of all Covid-19 cases - or 121,407 - were reached. The PM has said it is his 'desire' to try and allow loved ones to enjoy the festive period together after a tumultuous year.
