The country also logged more than 490,000 coronavirus cases with 1,355 people having tested positive over the same period. So far, 5,386 men (76.38%) and 1,666 women (23.62%) have died from Covid-19 across the country. The DGHS said 12,802 samples were collected from suspected Covid-19 patients in the last 24 hours. The health authorities said 3,393 people recovered from the disease over the preceding 24 hours. As many as 50,575,106 people have recovered from Covid-19 which has spread to 218 countries and territories across the planet.
