New Zealand public health staff remain in close contact with Australian health authorities about the actions being taken in each State, the ministry said in a statement released tonight. From Friday July 9 at 11.59pm, "green flights" will open from Queensland and New South Wales to New Zealand. Critical workers who were stranded in Queensland or New South Wales would also be welcome. "It reinforces we are taking the right approach with our precautionary actions to protect the public health of New Zealanders."
