Covid-19 coronavirus: 'Critical 24 hours' facing Melbourne as cases rise


Melbourne's Ariele Apartment complex has been placed into lockdown while the Melbourne Cricket Ground was named as a location of interest. Victoria recorded seven new cases early on Wednesday. Four of the new cases were recorded on level three of Ariele apartments in Maribyrnong where the removalists stopped. Two additional community cases were recorded today, both linked to level two of the Melbourne Cricket Ground members reserve.
