A Pleasant Point author is calling for submissions for a Covid-19 anthology to give people hope through "uplifting" writing. JOHN BISSET/STUFF Pleasant Point author Karalyn Reid is starting work on an anthology with a Covid-19 theme. She hoped everyone would be sick of their digital devices soon and be ready to pick up a paper book instead and plans to distribute the Covid-19 anthology to doctors' waiting rooms, hospitals and hospices around the country. The previous anthologies were funded by the Pleasant Point Presbyterian parish. The deadline for submissions is May 31 and Reid hopes to have the book published and distributed in September or October.
