Waikato District Health Board has vaccination centres open on Sunday in Huntly, Ngāruawāhia, Te Awamutu and multiple clinics in Hamilton. There were two new cases of Covid-19 reported in the Waikato region by the Ministry of Health on Sunday. Both Covid-19 patients in Waikato Hospital on Saturday had now been discharged and no new cases had been admitted, the ministry figures showed on Sunday. There have now been 156 community cases of Covid-19 in Waikato and 68 of those have recovered. There were 33,867 first and second Covid-19 vaccine doses administered around the country on Saturday.
