Three people have travelled to New Zealand from Melbourne in breach of the lockdown in the Australian state of Victoria, health officials have announced. Quarantine-free travel between Victoria and New Zealand has been on hold since May 25, following a community Covid-19 outbreak in the Australian state. The Ministry of Health also announced there are two new cases of Covid-19 in managed isolation. (File photo)The announcement comes after a Covid-19 patient was transferred to Middlemore Hospital on Wednesday. As of Wednesday, the total number of active cases in New Zealand is 24, while the total number of confirmed cases is 2340.
