Authorities in Nakuru County have stopped a day time exotic and pole dancing extravaganza scheduled to be held at a popular night club. The event dubbed ‘Vegas Heat Saturday’ was to start at around 3pm and end at 9pm, before the night curfew imposed to stop the spread of Coronavirus. But Public Health chief officer Samuel King’ori reminded the organisers through a notice that Covid-19 regulations are still in force. “Kindly be advised that Covid-19 regulations still stand. “I hereby request your office and that of the county commander to stop the event, because we have not allowed any kind of gathering,” read another letter to the local police commander.
