Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins is urging the public to be on guard against sharing “fake” public health message on social media. “I want to return to something that has been a bit of a recurring theme in our Covid-19 response ... and that is the need for accurate information to reach the New Zealand public,” Hipkins said. “If people don’t get the Covid-19 vaccination, it’s going to come into the country, people are going to be hospitalised, and people are going to die.”
