Covid-19: Kenya records five new cases, zero deaths


The death toll from Covid-19 has for the fourth day running stayed at 5,649 after no death was reported over the last 24 hours. From the cases, four patients are Kenyans while one is a foreigner. Kagwe said the total confirmed positive cases now stand at 323,614 while cumulative tests conducted so far across the country are 3,566,917. The CS further revealed that 11 patients are currently admitted in various health facilities across the country while 131 are under the Home-Based Isolation and Care program. Overall, Kagwe said Kenya has to date administered 17,813,671 vaccines across the country out of a target of 27,246,033 expected to be achieved by end of December.
