Covid-19: Kenya records 85 new cases in last 24 hours


Kenya has recorded 85 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours raising the country's total caseload to 99,983. However, Kagwe said four patients have succumbed to the disease bringing Kenya’s fatalities since March to 1,744. A total of 545 are admitted in various health facilities while 1,568 are in the Home-based Isolation. Separately, another 14 patients are in the supplementary Oxygen, of whom 10 are general wards while two are in the High Dependency Unit (HDU). DistributionIn counties’ distribution, Nairobi leads with 70 cases, Kiambu, Makueni, Mombasa, Nyeri and Nakuru counties each with two cases.
