Health Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) Rashid Aman announced, during the daily briefing at Afya House in Nairobi, that these new cases raised the country's total to 7,188. Dr Aman further reported that the number of recoveries had increased to 2,148 as 39 more patients had been discharged. According to coronavirus case tracker Worldometer, the disease had infected at least 11,023,455 people and killed 524,881 globally by July 3. The number of recoveries was 6,178,566 and that of active cases 4,320,008.
