A Kiwi DJ living in New York City was due to be playing the biggest gig of his career in Miami, Florida on Christmas Eve (US time). Isaac Hindin-Miller (aka Isaac Likes) said he started feeling sick last week, and did at least three at-home Covid tests, which all came out negative. “Lines for the PCR tests [similar to the free drive-thru Covid tests in New Zealand] are literally a mile long,” he said on the phone to Stuff from his East Village apartment. He was supposed to play the biggest show of his career in Miami on December 24, but Covid-19 had other plans. The cheapest clinic he’s found charges US$175 (NZ$256) for a test for results by the next day.
