The latest single-day death toll is the lowest since March 29, when health authorities recorded 45 deaths. On March 28, the daily Covid-19 death toll was 35. The country also logged a total of 770,842 coronavirus cases with 1,682 people testing positive over the past 24 hours. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the latest figures on Covid-19 in the country through a press release on Friday. As many as 134,153,319 people have recovered from Covid-19 which has spread to 220 countries and territories across the planet.
