Brac Bank logoThe employees donated a portion of their salariesBRAC Bank employees made a Tk1.73 crore financial contribution to fight against coronavirus pandemic. The employees donated a portion of their salary of April 2020 to the BRAC's “COVID-19: Emergency food assistance” fund, said a press release. The BRAC Bank launched the fund to provide food assistance to daily wage earners and the extremely-poor across the country. The members of the bank’s management gave their two-day salaries while others have contributed their one-day earnings to the fund. BRAC Bank expects that the money would support more than 11,500 families for at least two weeks.
