Che Fu was set to perform at the now-cancelled Waitangi ki Manukau event in south Auckland. Some of Auckland’s biggest Waitangi Day celebrations have been scrapped to stop any possible spread of Covid-19. Also on the chopping block was Waitangi ki Manukau in south Auckland, where Che Fu and Herbs were scheduled to play. A number of major events are scheduled, including the Anniversary Day Regatta, the Chinese New Year Festival, the SeePort Festival, and the Auckland Folk Festival. The music festival Sounds Like Summer, which was to go ahead in Omaha in Auckland’s north, has already been postponed.
