The medical staff were sent to quarantine as part of the hospital's initiative to clean and disinfect the area, said an official wishing to remain anonymous. An Emergency Medical Officer (EMO) of the hospital (AKMH) also confirmed that the ICU has been closed since Monday. Earlier, on March 12, Delta Hospital Ltd, where a coronavirus patient died on Saturday, sent 20 of its staff to take 14 days of compulsory leave. This included four doctors, 12 nurses, and four supporting staff, who were on duty at the ICU where the patient died.
