(First published February 2022)There are 9109 new community Covid-19 cases, as officials report a further 20 deaths over the past eight days. The seven-day rolling average of community case numbers was 7943 as of Tuesday – last Tuesday it was 8085. The 20 deaths reported on Tuesday bring the total number of publicly reported deaths with Covid-19 in Aotearoa to 777. The rolling seven-day average of reported deaths is 13. Tuesday's rolling average for Auckland is the highest it has been since April 4, when it stood at 2294.
