The Ministry of Health is reporting 5554 new community cases of Covid-19 on Wednesday, 368 hospitalisations and 11 deaths. The seven-day rolling average of community case numbers today is 5777 – last Wednesday it was 6035. In the 1pm updates, the Ministry of Health releases a total number of people who have died “with Covid” in a particular time period. The ministry later provides further information on the cause of these deaths on its website. On Tuesday, the ministry reported 6133 new community cases, 377 hospitalisations and 23 deaths.
