Besides, the country also logged more than 244,000 coronavirus cases with 1,918 people having tested positive over the same period. With this development, the number of all confirmed cases so far jumped to 244,020. The mortality rate against the total number of cases detected so far stands at 1.33%. The DGHS official said that 8,123 samples were collected from suspected Covid-19 patients between Monday and Tuesday mornings. As many as 11,693,523 people have recovered from Covid-19 which has spread to 213 countries and territories across the planet.
