Acting Presiding Judge Felix Reyes signed the arrest warrant against Nicko Falcis on March 8 and set his bail at P60,000. The court said Falcis violated Section 9 (j) (Obtaining money through an access device) of RA 8484 or the Access Device Regulation Act of 1998. The case stemmed from several transactions made last year in Taguig amounting to P437,595.67 using the KCAP credit card. The Access Devices Regulation Act prohibits the fraudulent use of an access device, which in this case was a credit card.
