THE Sandiganbayan’s Sixth Division has denied a former Bureau of Immigration (BI) deputy commissioner ‘s bid for the dismissal of the plunder case he was facing. In April, the Sandiganbayan’s Sixth Division denied Robles’s omnibus motion, prompting him to file a motion for reconsideration seeking the dismissal of the case. However, this Court resolves to deny the same,” the Sandiganbayan’s Sixth Division said in part in a 16-page resolution promulgated on May 31 wherein it denied his motion for reconsideration. The court said that the charge sheet alleged the first, second, and third elements of plunder. The Sandiganbayan’s Sixth Division found basis to try the plunder, graft, and bribery cases filed against Argosino, Robles, and Sombero.
