ISLAMABAD: An accountability court (AC) Thursday extended a seven-day physical remand of three accused Aftab Memon, Abdul Jabbar and Muhammad Shabbir in fake accounts case. The trial court directed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to produce the accused person again on March 28, at the end of remand period. During the day, NAB officials produced the three accused before AC-I Judge Muhammad Bashir and sought their further physical remand. NAB officials pleaded before the court that it was required to recover further documents from the accused and the department needed their further physical remand. Previously, the court had granted the NAB a 13-day physical remand of the accused persons.
