GEORGE TOWN: The Penang High Court has dismissed an application to be allowed bail by M. Santhea who has been charged with murdering her newborn daughter. "After hearing and scrutinising the application, I hereby decide that the application is rejected and the accused will remain in prison until her trial," he said. Santhea was charged with killing her newborn daughter at 8.25am on July 10 at the Sri Ivory Apartment in Bandar Baru, Ayer Itam. Rayer requested bail despite murder being a non-bailable offence, citing a recent case law in the country.
