Missouri Chief Disciplinary Counsel Alan Pratzel, in a court filing reported by KCUR-FM, cited Mark and Patricia McCloskey's guilty pleas to misdemeanors stemming from the June 2020 encounter. Patricia McCloskey pleaded guilty to misdemeanor harassment and was ordered to pay a $2,000 fine. He recommended that the Supreme Court indefinitely suspend the McCloskeys’ licenses. Mark McCloskey emerged with an AR-15-style rifle, and Patricia McCloskey waved a semiautomatic pistol, according to the indictment.
