ISLAMABAD: An Accountability Court of Islamabad on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of assets case against former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar after Investigation officer’s statements were not recorded. No development took place in today’s hearing of the case as statements of National Accountability Bureau’s Investigation officer were not recorded in a reference alleging Ishaq Dar of accumulating assets beyond his income. The court ordered NAB officer to bring an attested copy of Supreme Court’s verdict and adjourned hearing till June 19. Mirza Shahzad Akbar, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Accountability, took to Twitter to reveal the news.
