Bengaluru: Coursera, the global online education company, has formed a partnership with Manipal Global Education Services through which it will offer curated content to the latter’s 1.5 million active learners and alumni. Manipal’s learners will have initial access to over 60 specialization and certificate programs from Coursera’s global university partners. What is unique about this is Coursera embraces multiple people and we get all of that under one (umbrella),” said Vaitheeswaran S., managing director and CEO of Manipal Global. Manipal Global, in turn, will supplement the content with relevant materials such as local case studies. And in that context we’re very pleased that the first of these initiatives around the world is our partnership with Manipal Global,” Coursera’s chief business officer Nikhil Sinha said at a press conference announcing the partnership.
