Couple who claim their home will have to be demolished after 'defective works' sue insulation companyMichael and Silvia Gunning, Rathconrath, Co Westmeath, have sued Permagreen Insulation (Ireland) Ltd, Euro Innovation Park, Little Island, Cork, which was employed to provide insulation for their house, construction of which began in 2009. They claim that Permagreen provided the cavity wall insulation over a number of days in October 2011 while the house was still under construction. On Wednesday, Mr Justice Anthony Barr said he was permitting Permagreen to amend its defence.
