Queenstown resident Thomas van den Berg was relaxing at his Arthur's Point home yesterday when he heard a big bang. Seconds later his wife, Christina, came running up their Redfern Tce driveway. Mrs van den Berg was arriving home about noon when she saw the car plunge into the couple's driveway. Mr van den Berg said he had no idea what caused the crash, but ''you would have to be doing something pretty interesting to crash there [in summer]''. Miraculously, the car missed the property Mr van den Berg has owned for about eight years, but did wreck part of a fence.
