A screenshot of the listing that appeared on the Dunbar Sloane website regarding the cabinet going on auction. A Stewart Island couple turned to the High Court to stop a rare cabinet they had purchased for $85,000 from being sold at auction for possibly half that price. According to a recently released court judgment, the cabinet was damaged during the 2011 earthquakes in Christchurch, where the couple lived at the time. Turnbull told Herzhoff he had sold the cabinet and other items to cover his costs. The couple then filed an interlocutory application in the High Court in Christchurch asking the court to stop Dunbar Sloane from selling the cabinet.
