KOTA KINABALU: Having a big haul of fish – close to 120kg – is perfectly fine but catching them with fish bombs is a no-no, say the police. For allegedly using illegal methods to land their catch, a couple is now under custody and being probed by the police. ACP Mohamad Pajeri said the suspects, aged 64 and 43, were arrested along Jalan Tinangol Indarason at about 2.40pm on Saturday. “Upon inspection, we found the fish, worth about RM1,200, inside the car. ACP Mohamad Pajeri reminded the public not to catch fish and other marine species using illegal methods, including fish bombs.
