Abdur Rahman, sub-inspector of Joydebpur police station, said garment worker Sajedul, who used to live at a rented house along with his family, developed an illicit relationship with his colleague Hanufa. On Tuesday night, Sajedul invited Hanufa to his house in absence of his wife. Sajedul’s friend Alamgir went to the house in the early hours of the day and called him from outside and did not receive any response. Alamgir found both of them hanging from a ceiling with a rope in the house, the SI said quoting him. Police said the couple might have committed suicide over alleged extra-marital affair.
