A newly-married couple has approached a Jodhpur court alleging that five policemen, including an SHO, ill-treated them "in a drunken state". When the couple approached the SHO of Sardarpura police station, Bhupendra Singh, who was present there, he also misbehaved with them and they were pushed into a PCR van, according to their complaint. After getting bail from the court, the couple filed a complaint against the policemen. On the contrary, the couple misbehaved with the police when they were spotted in suspicious condition. Also, a member of the Rajasthan State Women Commission met the couple after its Chairperson Suman Sharma took cognisance on the matter.
