The doc 'The Elephant Whisperers' tells the heartwarming tale of an orphaned elephant and the couple who devote their entire lives to caring for it. As there was a misunderstanding that the couple had not seen the movie, the director of the Academy Award-winning documentary, Kartiki Gonsalves, clarified the 'duo' to be the first viewers of the movie in her special screening of the documentary. The 40-minute documentary is centered around the lives and work of Bomman and his wife Bellie (one of the film's stars), who raise orphaned elephant calves. Up until this point, the elephant duo has roughly cared for 84 elephants.
